Project SKill - Developer Application (NOT P-MOD) Empty Project SKill - Developer Application (NOT P-MOD)

Hello and thank you for your interest in becoming part of the staff here at Project Skill. Assuming you have read and understood both the introductory post, and the code of conduct, you know what we are about here at Project Skill. We hope you are more than willing to comply by that.

The steps to becoming part of the Project Skill team-

Step 1.) Apply for an application (see bottom. But please read this process beforehand.)
Step 2.) We send you an application via email. You fill it out.
Step 3.) You send it back to us. Mod Chris reviews the application. If it is worthy of being reviewed by other staff (skip to step 5.) If not (continue to step 4.)
Step 4.) You receive an email back from Mod Chris that will say "declined."
Step 5.) You receive an email back from Mod Chris that will say "under review by staff."
Step 6.) The rest of the staff reviews the application. If accepted by the rest of the staff (skip to step 8.) If rejected by the rest of the staff (continue to step 7.)
Step 7.) You receive another email from Mod Chris that will say "rejected by the rest of the staff."
Step 8.) You receive another email from Mod Chris that will say "accepted by the rest of the staff."
Step 9.) The application and your in-game actions are put under final review by the leader of the team your applying for. If accepted by the team leader (skip to step 11.) If rejected by the team leader (continue to step 10.)
Step 10.) You receive an email from the leader of the team your applying for that will have an explanation of your declination.
Step 11.) Your name in-game and on the forums will be changed to "mod (your name here)" and you will receive administrative status in-game and moderator status on the forums. Your title becomes "mod (your name here), (team name) development team."
Example of step 11: Mod Joe, Community Development Team.

To begin step 1, request an application from this email: Chrislewis2@cinci.rr.com. If the staff agrees you deserve an application, the process above begins.
Please remember, if you are applying for a position, we are always watching you in-game. Being a kiss *** will not help you in the application process, and will probably get you rejected immediately.

On a last note, there are currently 3 teams you can apply for. I will explain them.

You can apply for the community development team. Mod Chris (myself) is the leader of this team. The community development team handles all in-game problems regarding rule-breaking and player safety. You need to have a good history of administrative and moderating experience to get in. You could consider us the administrators of the game itself.

You can apply for the game development team. Mod Anthony is the leader of this team. The game development team handles anything that has to do with client development, coding, graphics, animations, fixing glitches/bugs. This is the most important team we have (in my opinion) and you need to have some serious skill with java and RSPS's to get in. The name for this team pretty much speaks for itself.

You can apply for the site development team. Mod Daniel is the leader of this team. The site development team handles anything that has to do with forum error/glitch fixing, keeping the website/server advertised well, responding to player posts, and keeping the forums clean and professional. You need to have plenty of previous forums experience, must be able to answer any player questions, and must be mature enough to handle any situation (yes, including raging players.) The name for this team pretty much speaks for itself.

Project SKill - Developer Application (NOT P-MOD) Empty Re: Project SKill - Developer Application (NOT P-MOD)

Very nice. Remember folks, this is NOT a player moderator application. Please see the "P-MOD Application Process" in the 'News and Announcements' section.

Remember, before applying for a staff position, be sure you understand all our rules, have posts on the forums and are very active in-game. It may take up to 3 weeks to do all of these steps, so please be patient.
